ABOUT WOODBRIDGE
Infrastructure Built Around Delivery.
Woodbridge Infrastructure is a specialist UK contractor working across power and complex civil infrastructure. Our teams support HV grid routes, substations, grid connections, battery storage, synchronous condensers, interconnectors and bulk earthworks. Established in 2013 as Woodbridge Civil Engineering, the business has evolved into Woodbridge Infrastructure, reflecting the scale and breadth of the infrastructure projects we now deliver.
Early Involvement
Woodbridge believes civil engineering input should begin before construction. We provide practical input into buildability, route selection, construction methodology, programme, risk and cost.
Practical Delivery
Our teams understand construction around existing utilities, National Grid assets, highways, watercourses, structures, agricultural land, urban environments and restricted access.
Commercial Understanding
Construction methodology and commercial outcome are closely linked. Identifying difficult ground, temporary works, crossings and access constraints early can reduce uncertainty later.
Collaborative Delivery
Woodbridge works alongside developers, ICPs, EPC contractors, principal contractors, network operators, designers, consultants, cable contractors and specialist subcontractors.
TRANSMISSION INFRASTRUCTURE EXPERIENCE
400kV Project Experience.
Woodbridge teams bring civil engineering project experience associated with major 400kV and 275kV energy infrastructure across the UK, alongside NERS-accredited civil engineering capability up to 132kV.
